Multi-level Dungeon, Made with Manorhouse modular underground system

I made with Lorenzo Marchetto, owner of Manorhouse 3 different setups in order to show his modular system.
This one is the first setup, the goal was to show that the scale is fully compatible with Reaper "Bones" miniatures, and also how is good in order to create a multi-level dungeon.
The necessary to create this setup is approximately what you should get with 2 starter boxes with stretch goals + wooden stairs Add-ons

are you ready?
I think that this setup is very nice :)

 Soon the other two setup...

Manorhouse Modular Underground Kickstarter

Hello,
yesterday night I had the possibility to made a setup with my Dwarven Forge pieces and some stuff, not yet on the market (not yet produced!)
I'm talking about the Modular Underground Project from Manorhouse, that will be produced through this Kickstarter
Lorenzo Marchetto, owner of the Manorhouse, ask me to make this setup together, because a lot of people ask him about compatibility with DF.
Note: these parts are prototypes

For more photos of this setup, Click Here
Compatibility with DF:
During the design of the product, as DF fan and collector of many game products of many companies, I was involved by Lorenzo about what his important for compatibility with other game products... we concluded that the most important things are the "horizontal" measure of the modules..and the height of the floors.
the walls haven't the same height as a DF wall...but in my opinion that is not so important...what I think is that rooms can have different heights...and when I make a setup, I always try to "create" diffent heights, in order to have a more eastetic/dynamic view and not-flat view.

The product:
In the picture below what you get with 1 box...(remember that these are prototypes)
the material is hard plastic..and you get the parts inside sprues.
The product at the moment is only unpainted, but Manorhouse is doing estimates in order to find a way to offer also a pre-painted version of the product. I will update here if there are news.
The cost is very interesting.
55$ for 1 box, and 100$ if you buy 2 boxes...with 2 boxes you get also access to the free rewards of the Kickstarter.
Note, that there are floors in excess, so if in a setup, you need only standard floors (not sewers) is not a problem.

Setup with 1 box:

Is possible to raise more levels, putting a wall above the other.

The walls are interchangeable with arch,doors, grate (and with possible future add-ons), so you can change the design of your dungeon in many way, with the same parts.

The first step if the Kickstarter will go ok, is the stairs and wooden floors...I think that the setups you can create with this addittional pack, are amazing.

 Another Pack that could be introduced introduced if the Kickstarter is going very well, are the gothic walls...

Song of Blades & Heroes: Math & Statistical Calculation

Hello,
this is not an usual post about 28mm 3D models/miniatures..
I started to play Song of Blades & Heroes, a very nice skirmish game, that you can play with any miniatures you have.
I've done for myself some tables with statistical calculation regarding SBH rules, that maybe are useful for someone else.

Below a table that show the probability to obtains successful rolls or turnover on activation tests, depending by Q+ score and number of dice.
Number in red are TURNOVER.

In the table above, in the bottom part is showed what change with the "Hero" special rule.
Is interesting to see, that the performance of a model with "Hero" is very similar (and often better, if you consider the importance of avoiding turnover) to the performance of a model with a Q+ better of 1 point.  (example Q+ 4 and Hero is similar to Q+ 3).

Note:
That consideration leads me to found a curiosity..
if you build by yourself the stats of your models using the formula ((Cx5 + "Special Rules")x(7-Q))/2
adding the Hero special rules and lowering the Q+ by 1, often could be a deal because your performance on activation tests are not worse and you gain the other benefit of the "Hero" rule.
Example:
98point Q+ 3  C 5
Leader, Heavy Armored, Mounted

could be:
96 point Q+ 4  C 5
Leader, Hero, Heavy Armored, Mounted

now that we are at Q4+ we can add also Shooter: Short reaching 99 point...

is convenient to add the Hero rule (cost = 15 point) and lowering the Q+ by 1, when:
if Q = 2+ =>> (Cx5 + S) should be >= 60
if Q = 3+ =>> (Cx5 + S) should be >= 45
if Q = 4+ =>> (Cx5 + S) should be >= 30
if Q = 5+ =>> (Cx5 + S) should be > =15
you can obtain this results resolving this expression below:
(Cx5 + "Special Rules")x(7-Q) >= (Cx5 + "Special Rules" + 15)x(7-(Q-1))

After the rule "Assassin", the Hero rule is one of the rule that if used without any constrain, allowed me, to obtain the things more unbalanced...probably we are going to create some house rules.

-----------------------
In the Table below, the probability to win over an opponent, to double his roll, or to triple his roll.
In the Total C value, C and all the bonus/malus are included.

If I will do other tables or consideration  I'll update this post.

"Sepulcrum" a DF compatile set.

Hello,
my friend "Capochino" is producing this Dwarven Forge compatible Set, that in my opinion is very nice.

look at this link (italian and english) for all the informations,
Sepulcrum
I'have one set on my table and I'm very happy,
one of the things that i prefer, is that this set is good also "naked"..
I mean, without skeletons stuff...
fit very well for egyptian rooms, or dwarven rooms, or many things like that, I'm doing some experiments (the dwarven statue is not included, is a sculpture from a guy named Bombur)

 In the next months Capochino, probably is going to prepair an expansion for this set (also a completely different set is in progress) and probably also some "expansion pieces" that we can use instead of the skeleton stuff...in this way is possible to use the set in different way...
the idea is that you buy a SET...and then you can buy some SMALL expansions, in order to "dress" your set in a different way...

Immagine that instead of the skeletons, for example you get dwarven sculptures or hieroglyphs on the walls, or tapestries, etc etc...
are only possible EXAMPLES, I'm not sure of what will be exactly produced, and probably Capochino want to know what the people really want..but I think that the idea is very interesting :)

Merry Christmas to everyone
